Grievances filed with the Attorney Grievance Commission which did not result in the filing of public charges, or which are currently under investigation, are confidential and not open to public inspection.

Only active members of the State Bar of Michigan are eligible to practice law in Michigan. The State Bar maintains a Member Directory with contact information for actively licensed Michigan attorneys. This directory also includes attorneys who have chosen inactive or emeritus status, or have been suspended for non-disciplinary reasons, including failure to pay annual Bar dues.
